Water is an amazing thing. It creates most of our planet. Without it we would be lost. Well, the two main ingredients are pretty much Hydrogen and Oxygen. Fish use the oxygen. That why they have gills.
Here are some interesting facts about water from lenntech.com:
- In a 100-year period, a water molecule spends 98 years in the ocean, 20 months as ice, about 2 weeks in lakes and rivers, and less than a week in the atmosphere.
- Water Freezes at 32 degrees F
- Water boils at 212 degrees F
- Water can not only be found on the surface, but also in the ground and in the air.
- Roughly 70 percent of an adult’s body is made up of water.
